Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Tie the Knot

 PEOPLE Magazine released the news that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo wed Friday in a secret tropical island location. Vanessa Minnillo’s wedding dress was a two-piece outfit by Monique Lhuillier.
Minnillo has been hosting the entertainment program “Wipeout” as well as the 2007 Miss Universe pageant. Lachey earned his fame as a member of boy band “98 Degrees,” and later acted on his own reality show, “Newlyweds.” The actress was his then-wife Jessica Simpson. They walked down the aisle four years ago and ended their relationship with divorcing in the year 2006. Later Lachey began dating Minnillo who starred in his music video “What’s Left of Me”.

On his visit of Access Hollywood Live in December 2010, Nick revealed his relationship with Vanessa to Billy Bush and Kit Hoover as such: “”I think that we have a great relationship. The good thing about our situation is that we kind of took our time with it. We’ve been together four and half years,” Nick said at the time.
Prior to this nuptial, he confirmed his full readiness: “I’m at a point in my life where I’m ready to start another chapter. Having kids is a big part of that,” Nick told Parade magazine in an interview, which ran in their June 12 issue. “I’m excited for what comes next. Life is a journey, and I’m certainly ready to close this chapter and move on to the next.”
The thirty-year-old bride, Minnillo, echoed her husband’s high expectation of their marriage with the following statement when interviewed: “For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that’s to start a family together,”
The newly wed couple preferred a celebration of their wedding with intimated friends and family members. The wedding location was reportedly to be kept in secret and the guest list is not long, including 35 attendees in total wedding invitations was delivered in the form of plane tickets, a creative fashion indeed.
Us Weekly reported the pair wed on Necker Island. Necker Island, in the British Virgin Islands, is owned by Richard Branson. The glitzy wedding dress Minnillo’s slipped into flatters her body with oomph and elegance, a two-piece suit included a lace corset top, hand-tufted skirt.
